Advanced Electricity Networks are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered to time, cost and quality, while championing a strong and positive Health & Safety culture across all operations.

What you will be doing

ICP Project Adoption:
Manage the efficient adoption and delivery of ICP projects through to energisation in line with AEN standards.

Health & Safety:
Lead and enforce a strong health and safety culture, ensuring full statutory and regulatory compliance.

Right to Make Live:
Oversee the RTML process to ensure safe, compliant, and timely network connections.

Fault Management:
Manage fault response and restoration to maintain network reliability and customer confidence.

Operational Compliance:
Ensure all operations meet licence, technical, and accreditation requirements.

Stakeholder Management:
Coordinate effectively with ICPs, contractors, DNOs, and internal teams to drive performance.

What we are looking for

A proactive professional with a strong “can-do” attitude and a commitment to first-class customer service.

Proven operational experience within the utilities ideally within an IDNO, DNO, or ICP environment

Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.

Strong technical audit capability with clear and concise report-writing skills.

Hold relevant certifications including NRSWA, SMSTS, and CSCS.

Demonstrated experience in promoting and sustaining a positive Health & Safety culture with sound knowledge of CDM and industry best practice.

A team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Solid understanding of fault management, incident response, and network restoration
