We’re seeking an Area Manager to join our Precision Services team on a permanent, full-time basis. This home‑based role covers the South Suffolk/Essex area, where you’ll promote and sell services to new and existing customers.
Role OverviewThis role combines customer acquisition with technical support, ensuring clients benefit fully from Precision’s crop production services. A passion for soil health and sustainable farming is essential.
Responsibilities- Maintain and grow a customer base in your region, managing your own sales and consultancy strategy.
- Serve as the regional expert and trusted advisor for precision crop production, representing Precision Services to customers and colleagues.
- Collaborate across all Frontier product areas to support existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade events, farmer meetings and industry events both nationally and locally.
- Design and manage your own local events calendar.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services to customers and colleagues.
- Provide expert technical support and advice to clients across all precision product lines.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure customers receive the highest level of service.
- Deliver agreed sales targets across multiple product lines.
- Attend national and regional sales team meetings.
- Monitor competitor activity and market developments, reporting relevant information as needed.
- Agricultural background with knowledge of the annual crop cycle and farming operations.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Genuine passion for precision farming and crop production.
- Highly motivated, willing to learn and adapt.
- Results‑driven with a focus on developing sales and expanding client accounts.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- FACTS qualification an advantage, but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent time‑management and organisational abilities.
