Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Telecommunication Infrastructure Engineer for one of our clients based in Braintree. This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, being on-site, and playing a key role in delivering critical telecoms and structural projects across the UK.

Main Purpose of the Role

As a Telecommunications Infrastructure and Inspection Engineer you will be required to set up the rigging equipment, operate heavy machinery to erect and install structures and equipment and dismantle rigging after the job. The Telecommunications Infrastructure and Inspection Engineer will also be required to attend site surveys and climb down inspections, to support the wider business with site work and installation of steelwork and generally to complete tasks agreed by the business with our clients relating to the building and maintenance of steel structures.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Supporting the installation, maintenance and inspection of telecommunications infrastructure and steel structures

* Setting up and dismantling rigging equipment safely and efficiently on-site

* Operating plant and machinery to assist with structural installations

* Attending site surveys and carrying out inspections, including working at height and confined spaces

* Assisting with project delivery across a range of client sites nationwide

* Working closely with team members to ensure projects are completed safely and to a high standard

* Maintaining strict adherence to health & safety procedures at all times

Experience,

Skills & Qualifications

Working at Height certification (essential)

Any of the following would be advantageous:

* IPAF

* First Aid at Height

* Slinger/Signaller

* Site access certifications

Confident working at height in a safe and controlled manner

Previous experience within telecommunications, steelwork or a similar site-based environment

Strong understanding of rigging equipment and site machinery

Experience preparing and working from RAMS, SSOW and SOW documentation

* Salary: £32,000
