Rate: £150 - £190 per day (M1/M2 equivalent)

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspirational Teaching: Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4, bringing the subject to life with creative and interactive resources.
  • ECF Engagement: Actively participate in the school s induction program, attending mentor meetings and professional development sessions.
  • Progress Tracking: Use data to monitor student attainment, identifying where students need extra support or further challenge.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work alongside experienced colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative schemes of work.
  • Pastoral Care: Take on a form tutor role, acting as a point of contact for a group of students and supporting their overall well-being.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: On track to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by Summer 2026 or recently qualified.
  • Subject Knowledge: A strong academic background in Mathematics or a related STEM degree.
  • Growth Mindset: An eagerness to learn, reflect on feedback, and continuously improve your teaching practice.
  • Enthusiasm: A genuine desire to make Mathematics accessible and enjoyable for students of all ability levels.
  • Compliance: An enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
