Yard Dog Driver (Full‑Time)

Join the Barrett Petfood team in Brainerd, Minnesota as a Yard Dog Driver, supporting our manufacturing processes by transporting materials efficiently within the yard. Pay ranges from $20.50 to $22.50 per hour.

• Track trailers and inventory of the trailer lot
• Ensure mill ingredients loaded per schedule
• Communicate with operators and verify pit switchover, ingredients, and amounts
• Unload and load flour from hopper‑bottom trailers
• Check seals, verify paperwork, and inspect trailer condition
• Take samples from hoppers
• Move van trailers and stage trailers in heated shed
• Maintain FIFO inventory
• Clean unload bay, trucks, and trailers
• Tote overheads and assist with bulk totes when necessary

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM‑5:00 PM.

• Excellent driving skills and a solid understanding of safety protocols.

• Strong communication abilities to interact with team members and address logistical issues.

• Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail for pre‑trip inspections.

• Adaptability and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
