Overview
Parks & Rec Baseball Coordinator/Head Coach. Oversight of Parks & Rec baseball program. Duties include but are not limited to: organizing and running a skills night/team draft, onsite supervision, assigning teams, preparing equipment, recruiting volunteer coaches and assisting with orientation/mentoring, sub-coach as needed, organizing and requesting updates to equipment as needed, organizing playoff tournaments.
Program Oversight Includes- Baseball recreation leagues for ages 6-14 (typically 25-30 teams depending on participation numbers)
- Teeball for ages 4-6 (typically 12-15 teams depending on participation numbers)
- Seasons run from early May to mid-July, and programs are held at fields in Baxter and Brainerd.
- $6,000 stipend for season
