Customer Service​/Lot Attendant

• Assist customers inside and outside the U-Haul center with products and services
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels as necessary
• Answer customer questions and educate them about available products and services

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in a moderately risky environment with safety precautions
• Capability to participate in ongoing training and education through U-Haul University

• Previous customer service experience
• Familiarity with rental equipment and services
• Ability to drive a forklift (certification provided upon employment)
• Interest in obtaining propane filling certification (training provided)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
