Duties and Responsibilities- Report directly to the Production Supervisor.
- Understand and follow verbal instructions to completion of assigned tasks.
- Maintain the palletizer operation of the beverage can package process with a focus on Safety, Quality, Productivity and Spoilage.
- Operate one or more automated machines for the production of aluminum beverage cans.
- Safely operate the equipment, identify basic mechanical problems and maintain process equipment.
- Communicate all pertinent information between management, co‑workers and between shifts on equipment changes, production problems or any other related information.
- Assist and coach new palletizer operators as needed.
- Follow JHAs, SOPs, rules, 6S housekeeping and maintain equipment and modifications for optimal efficiencies.
- Enter information into a computer to generate pallet labels.
- Perform accurate and continuous quality checks and record keeping.
- Complete and administer necessary documentation such as monthly SAFE cards, accident/near‑miss/hazard reporting and data process control input.
- Perform other job‑related duties as required or assigned.
- Minimum Requirements: High School Education/GED, 2–3 years experience in inspecting/packaging and high‑speed manufacturing environment, available to work various shifts, nights, weekends and overtime.
- Preferred Requirements: OSHA training in a manufacturing environment, beverage packaging industry experience, knowledge of AS400, 6S training.

- Leadership skills such as conflict resolution, communication and decision making.
- Demonstrated good relations skills and ability to motivate or team with people.
- Excellent time management and multi‑tasking.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Packaging/warehouse or plant environment.
- Exposure to light lifting, warehouse forklift traffic.
- Production noise level frequently loud.
