Our client is a privately owned, family‑run freight forwarding group with a strong reputation in the logistics industry. The business offers a supportive, close‑knit working environment and has recently refurbished its office space, creating a modern and comfortable workplace for its team.

We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Modal Operations Specialist to join the operations team in Bradford. This role will involve managing international shipments across ocean and air freight, with occasional involvement in road freight movements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong import and export ocean freight experience who is looking to broaden their exposure across multiple transport modes within a well‑established and growing business.

• Manage end-to-end ocean freight shipments (FCL & LCL) for both imports and exports
• Coordinate air freight shipments, including documentation and shipment tracking
• Prepare and process shipping documentation in line with compliance requirements
• Raise and process HAWBs and MAWBs where required
• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, and overseas agents
• Monitor shipments and proactively provide updates to customers
• Ensure accurate data entry and job costing within the internal system
• Support with occasional road freight shipments when required

• Essential experience managing ocean freight imports and exports (FCL & LCL)
• Experience working within a freight forwarding or logistics environment
• Strong operational understanding of international shipping processes
• Air freight experience, including raising HAWBs and MAWBs, highly desirable
• Road freight experience desirable but not essential
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines effectively
