Senior Social Worker - CIC Team

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker to join our Children in Care (CIC) Team in Bradford Children and Families Trust.

Senior Social Worker - CIC Team
Pay Rate: £35 per hour

Location:

Sir Henry Mitchell House, BD5 0QL

Role Overview :

As a Senior Social Worker within the CIC team, you will be working directly with children in care, ensuring their needs are met, and providing high-quality assessments and interventions. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team working towards improving outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a caseload of complex children in care.
Conducting thorough assessments and care planning.
Working collaboratively with families, schools, and external agencies.
Promoting the welfare and safety of children in care, ensuring their needs are met in accordance with statutory guidelines.
Providing high-level expertise and support to junior social workers.

Key Requirements:

Level 3 Qualified Senior Social Worker.
At least 3 years of post-AYSE experience.
Proven experience working with complex cases involving children in care.
Strong knowledge of child protection and care proceedings.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent

* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services

* Social Work England Registration
