Job Summary
Skills House is recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Skills House Engagement Advisers to join Skills House, Bradford Council’s all-age careers and employability service.
Engagement Advisers are the front-line service of Skills House. These roles focus on telephone and email contact with service users and community outreach. To provide the best support to clients there will be regular evening and weekend working.
Please note:
a clean driving license and access to a car is essential.
This role is Hybrid with Community Outreach across Bradford District.

Main Responsibilities- Be the first point of contact for Bradford residents needing employability support.
- Handle referrals quickly and direct people to the right team or service.
- Carry out outreach work across the district to engage residents.
- Respect and support all clients, especially those facing barriers or discrimination.
- Work fairly and flexibly, maintaining dignity, impartiality, and adapting to other duties as needed.
- Experience delivering quality support or training for young people.
- Background working with young people or adults, including those who are NEET.
- Experience in a school or college setting.
- Access to and use of a car.
