Job Title : Qualified social worker

Location : Bradford Metropolitan District Council

Rate : £35 per hour

The Bradford Metropolitan District Council is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join their Adults Safeguarding team, offering a pay rate of £35 per hour.

In this role, you will uphold social work values and safeguarding rights within legal frameworks like the Care Act 2014, Human Rights Act 1998, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and others. You will also enable positive risk‑taking and complex decision‑making, ensuring timely planning, evaluation, and documentation. Additionally, you will be required to engage effectively with complex cases, ensuring the person’s wishes and beliefs are central, and manage conflicts involving multiple agencies and significant risks.

In this Safeguarding team, you will also use legislation to protect adults at risk, act as an investigating officer, and uphold welfare and emotional well‑being.
