Plant Fitter

£45,000 Basic | Monday-Friday | Weekend Overtime Available | Bradford Area

If you're an experienced Plant Fitter and you want solid pay, stable hours, and the option to earn more - this is for you.

You'll be joining a busy operation in the Bradford area maintaining a varied fleet of heavy plant and construction equipment from manufacturers such as JCB, Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Volvo Construction Equipment.

You'll work on machinery including:

• Tracked and wheeled excavators
• Bulldozers
• ADTs (Articulated Dump Trucks)
• Loading shovels
• Telehandlers
• Road rollers
• Crushers & screeners
• Generators and smaller site equipment

This is hands‑on, proper engineering work – hydraulics, electrics, engines, transmissions.

• £45,000 basic salary
• Monday to Friday core hours
• Weekend overtime available at enhanced rates

• Servicing and preventative maintenance
• Hydraulic system repairs
• Electrical fault finding & diagnostics
• Engine and gearbox repairs
• Welding and fabrication (where required)
• Pre‑delivery inspections
• Ensuring equipment is safe and site‑ready
• Diagnosing properly and fixing faults correctly – no rushed patch‑up jobs.

• Strong hands‑on plant fitting experience
• Good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently
• Professional and reliable attitude
• Qualifications are welcome but experience matters more.
