Multi‑Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

The role is to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works on building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, undertake small installation works and respond to site engineering emergencies.

• Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out on all electrical and mechanical systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.
• Carry out reactive repairs on all systems as required, calling relevant sub‑contractors as necessary.
• Carry out all PPM maintenance as per the instruction set provided within Concept.
• Report all PPM defects via the KPMG defect process and liaise with the supervisor of defect requirements.
• Ensure weekly equipment reports are updated with any change in status of equipment.
• Liaise with sub‑contractors for repairs/quotations, monitor performance, and ensure works are undertaken correctly and the work area is left satisfactory.
• Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks via your PDA in line with KPMG policies and procedures in a timely manner.
• Present a professional image of CBRE to clients and visitors, delivering and promoting excellence in customer service at all times.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the client representative and client’s personnel.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment and comply with all company policies and client site arrangements.
• Accurately maintain site logs and associated paperwork.
• Participate in call‑out rota if applicable.
• Understand and maintain all systems on site.
• Liaise and work with other trade engineers to resolve all electrical issues within SLA agreements.
• Maintain professional and technical skills through personal development and lifelong learning.

• A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
• Recognised Electrical Qualification.
• C&G 17th Edition in Electrical Installations.
• C&G Test and Inspection.

• Good knowledge of various building electrical systems and experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance regimes.
• Current and relative knowledge of BS standards in relation to electrical systems on site, including emergency lighting, fire alarm, power, BMS, etc.

• Previous working with structured PPM delivery.
• Experience of working with business‑critical equipment.
• Working within a customer‑focused role.
• Previous work within a health and safety lead role.
• Experience of electrical systems management and paperwork.
