Bennett and Game are working with a leading General Haulage and Distribution firm actively recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team to assist in the continued growth and development of their North Leeds / Bradford site.

HGV Mechanic Job Overview

• You will maintain their mixed fleet of rigid and articulated vehicles and trailers to the highest standard and in line with DVSA requirements
• Vehicle and Trailer inspections
• MOT preparation to DVSA standards
• Brake testing at every inspection
• Fault finding and repairs
• Use of diagnostic equipment

HGV Mechanic Job Requirements

• Qualification in City and Guilds HGV Part 1, 2 & 3 or NVQ level 3 equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as an HGV Mechanic (post qualification) preferably within a fleet environment
• Large Goods Vehicle experience is essential

HGV Mechanic Salary & Benefits

• Salary - 55 - 60k DOE
