Business Development Manager - Multimodal, Road, Air and Ocean Freight

Opportunity for an experienced Senior Freight Account Manager or Business Development Manager to join an award-winning and globally recognised Freight and Logistics Service Provider who are looking to add to their team. My client specialises within European/ Domestic Road Freight, Ocean and Air Freight as well as Warehousing and Supply Chain Management Services.

Base pay and Benefits

Salary £60,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience)

  • Fully expensed Company Car/ Car Allowance
  • Uncapped commission structure, paid monthly on GP generated per month for the lifetime of the account

Responsibilities
  • Identifying and sourcing new leads
  • Actively selling all modes including European Road Freight Solutions, selling Full Loads, Part Loads and Groupage as well as Dedicated and Express Solutions, Air Freight and Ocean Freight, FCL and LCL
  • Quoting and winning new business to achieve agreed annual targets
  • Developing relationships with customers, onboarding, and working with Operations team to ensure successful service within agreed SOPs, meeting customers expectations
  • Working collaboratively with Operational and Product teams
  • Updating and ensuring all relevant information is captured within CRM/ Sales Management System
Qualifications

Over 2 years demonstrable experience in a Senior Freight Account Manager role or hunter sales role with a focus on New Business Development working for a Freight or Logistics provider within the UK.
