Retail Merchandiser

Overview

Are you looking for a part‑time role to boost your income? CPM is looking for team members who can join us to place POS (point of sale) and in‑store media in Asda. If you can work every Thursday (average 4.5 hours per week) and have experience merchandising/placing POS, we want to hear from you. Pay: £14.12 per hour (including holiday pay).

You will place POS in designated parts of the store to support several brands. You must achieve coverage of all POS placements, photograph them and report through an online app when completed.

• Sign into the store and introduce yourself to the key store contacts.
• Liaise with store colleagues to locate the POS previously delivered.
• Place bollard covers and promotional barkers, large gondola end cardboard display units, and other POS (as required) in pre‑arranged sections of the store. You will use a stepladder as needed.

• Available every Thursday to complete the visit.
• Calls to be completed between 6am and 4pm on a Thursday (hours will vary week on week but you will know in advance).
• Owner of a smartphone (Android or Apple) to report visits.
• Comfortable placing POS at height using a stepladder.
• Proficient at using an app‑based system.
• Willing to work in‑store, spending several hours navigating the store and moving heavy boxes of POS or stock as required.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience working with POS is essential.

• You have good attention to detail.
• You can be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You are a self‑starter and willing to get involved.

Hours will vary each week; the above is a current guideline on average hours.

We will provide comprehensive training and all the information you will need to be able to execute the placement of POS. Your CPM field manager will support you with any queries.
