Commutable from Skipton, Bradford, Leeds, Keighley

£55,000 + Pension + 33 days holiday + Further training

The Company:

A well established manufacturing business that produce bespoke machinery for blue chip companies all over the world. This company is the market leader in what they do and have an excellent reputation in the local area and globally.

They usually promote internally but this is quite a unique role for a QHSE Manager to oversee all Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental functions within the business.

The Role:

The QHSE manager role is very hands on and varied, including some of the following responsibilities:

Managing a small team
Analyse and improve the IMS system which incorporates quality, H&S and environmental processes.
Drive a culture of H&S throughout the business
Investigate accidents, near misses and compliance issues
Manage internal and external audits

Required Experience:

Personality is key to this hire and finding the right character is really important
Attention to detail
A strong character that can influence different stakeholders from the shop floor up to director level
NEBOSH qualified with experience of managing a Quality management system
You must have experience within a manufacturing environment
