A well-established manufacturing company based in Bradford is currently seeking an experienced Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join its night shift team. This role has become available to support ongoing site operations within a medium-sized manufacturing plant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a well-paid nights-only position within a stable and reputable manufacturing business.

The Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer working nights, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment and ensuring minimal downtime through effective maintenance practices.

Key responsibilities include:

* Carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing machinery

* Mechanical fault finding on conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, pneumatics, and associated equipment

* Responding efficiently to breakdowns to support continuous production

* Supporting minor improvements and reliability-focused maintenance tasks

* Working closely with production teams to ensure smooth night-shift operations

* Maintaining high health & safety and site compliance standards

The Ideal Candidate :

You will be a mechanically biased engineer with solid experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ideally, you will have:

* Strong mechanical maintenance background

* Experience with both reactive and preventative maintenance

* Previous experience working night shifts (preferred but not essential)

* Basic electrical knowledge (advantageous but not essential)

* A proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach
