Maintenance Engineers (x2)

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Salary: Circa £38,000 + overtime + benefits

Hours: Days (Monday-Friday)

A well‑established manufacturing business in Bradford West Yorkshire is looking to appoint two experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineers as part of a long‑term investment in its engineering team. This is a hands‑on, mechanically biased role within a busy industrial environment, offering stability, overtime, and the chance to work on a varied range of plant and machinery.

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plant and machinery
• Reactive breakdown response and fault‑finding
• Mechanical repairs defirotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, compressorsicularly hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Basic electrical fault‑finding as part of a multi‑skilled team
• Installation, modification, and improvement of machinery pierced equipment
• Workshop‑based tasks including fabrication, welding, and machining
• Association completion of maintenance records and reports

• Strong mechanical maintenance background in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City &>
  
  - Guilds or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of electrical systems (motors, basic PLC fault‑finding)
• Confident reading dishon engineering drawings and technical manuals
• Practical, calm approach to fault‑finding and breakdowns
• Commitment to health & safety and safe systems of work

• Overtime available
• Call‑out payments (£50 per call‑out plus paid hours and mileage)

• Day‑based role (between 6:00am‑6:00pm, Monday-Friday)
• Occasional weekend work, overtime, and emergency call‑outs
• Planned maintenance during bank holidays and Christmas periods (agreed in advance)
