Cut and Crease Operator

Position: Cut and Crease Operator (Permanent)
Total Spectrum are currently recruiting on behalf of our Manufacturing client, who is looking for a Cut & Crease Operator to join their existing team, based in the Bradford area.

The successful candidate will be experienced in all areas of die cutting, with a minimum of 3 years' experience and also be required to set-up and operate:
Automatic Platen Cutting Machine.

This is a straight permanent position with the client, for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

* Making ready jobs for die-cutting.

* Running and monitoring of jobs ensuring quality is maintained.

* Completing appropriate information on: MIS - Computer Systems to verify operator, quantities and QC.

* Daily machine maintenance and Health & Safety checks.

* Completing other daily duties and requests from a Manager or Supervisor

* Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.

* Experience of die-cutting in previous role

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong organisational and time management skills

* Motivated with positive helpful attitude

* Reliable, and trustworthy

* Team player with ability to also work on own initiative

* Awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety

Hours & Salary:

* Starting salary between £13.50 - £16.50 per hour, however potential to be slightly higher for the right candidate

* Shift work, rotating weekly:
Days - Monday to Friday 06::00/ Nights - Monday to Thursday 14::30/ Friday 14::00
