Randstad Education is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious School Cleaner for a position in Bradford
. This role is perfect for a cleaning professional who understands that school maintenance is about more than just a tidy room, it's about student wellbeing and safety.

In this role, you will go beyond basic cleaning duties by applying your technical knowledge of safety regulations:

• Chemical Safety: Managing and using cleaning agents strictly according to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) assessments.

• Safety Reporting: Identifying and reporting any incidents or potential hazards in line with RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) guidelines.

• Hygienic Maintenance: Deep cleaning classrooms, communal areas, and sanitary blocks to high standards.

• Equipment Care: Ensuring all industrial cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.

To be successful in this application, you must meet the following requirements:

  Experience:
  
  You must have significant previous experience as a cleaner within a UK-based school or commercial setting
  .

• Compliance Knowledge: A strong, demonstrable understanding of COSHH and RIDDOR procedures.

• Background Check: You must hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be prepared to undergo a new check).

• Reliability: A consistent and punctual work ethic is essential for school operational hours.

We have flexible options available to suit your lifestyle:

• Full-Time: Typically 37 hours per week.

• Part-Time: Split shifts (morning and afternoon) or afternoon-only blocks.
