Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Bradford, Chatham, Petersfield

Working Pattern: Hybrid (usually a couple of days a week in the office) – we welcome part‑time and flexible arrangements and will aim to match your current flexibility where possible.

The Role

In this role you’ll work at the heart of our Modern Workplace function, collaborating with a wide range of teams to deliver a seamless and secure colleague experience. You’ll build strong relationships with Infrastructure, Engineering and Architecture teams to help shape and enhance our technology platforms, while working closely with key service disciplines including Support, Service Delivery and Service Assurance to maintain strong operational performance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Modern Workplace experience across company endpoint and mobile environments; reports into the Modern Workplace Lead.
  • Operate as part of the centre of excellence across the Full Stack of Microsoft Office 365 and Cloud‑hosted services and be key to the Vanquis Banking Group adoption throughout the M365 roadmap.
  • Provide BAU management of the company’s existing mobile endpoint solutions for laptop, tablet, mobile, Surface Hub and Microsoft Teams Rooms devices using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot and Apple Business Manager.
  • Manage incident and request queue for Modern Workplace including Azure Virtual Desktop and W365 (Salesforce).
  • Complete low‑level design documentation relating to Modern Workplace projects, ensuring that key documentation is captured and signed off with relevant stakeholders before services are transitioned into production.
  • Provide support for project co‑ordination, imagery, re‑imagining PCs, break/fix scenarios, acting as an escalation point for desktop‑related incidents.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a Modern Workplace or EUC role and a background supporting colleagues using Microsoft 365 environments and applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Windows 365 technologies with deep SME level knowledge.
  • Hands‑on experience with deploying, configuring, and managing M365, Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with troubleshooting, problem‑solving and technical skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows 11 deployment and management, Office 365, WDS, Auto Pilot, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, MDM solutions (Intune/Endpoint Management), Group Policy Management, Direct Access, Always

    OnVPN, MFA, MCAS, SSO and identity management.
  • Experience with managing deployments of Windows OS, Mac OS, iOS and iPad.
  • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization and storage as they relate to workplace environments.
