Talent Manager, Employee Relations

We are a fast-paced supply chain business with a strong operational backbone and an equally strong commitment to our people. We are looking for a HR Advisor to act as a trusted people partner to leaders and colleagues alike.
The RoleThis is a hands-on, visible HR role supporting three warehouse operations (Our 2 Bradford sites and our Wigan site). You will primarily be based in Bradford, with travel to the Wigan site (a pool car is available, or you can use your own vehicle and claim mileage; travel time to Wigan is included in the working day).
Reporting into the HR Manager, you will be part of a wider HR Advisor team, working alongside two other HR Advisors who support other warehouses across the business. Together, you sit within a larger People Team that operates across the organisation.
Our People Team is responsible for designing and implementing initiatives, not just administering them. You will have the autonomy and trust to challenge, refine, and improve how we do things, making this the ideal role for someone who wants to make a difference.
Your Impact- Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership, providing pragmatic, commercially focused HR guidance.
- Be visible and approachable on site, building strong, credible relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Play an active role in shaping and improving people processes, policies, and ways of working.
- Contribute to people initiatives that have real, tangible impact across the business.
- Use your knowledge of employment law to ensure best practise across Torque, ensuring managers operate within the bounds of legislation and provide clear and transparent communication to employees.
- Provide guidance, advice and support line Managers/Supervisors within your area, on; absence management, workplace adjustments, family friendly policies, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances and performance management. Working with managers to ensure people issues are resolved in a timely manner with no unnecessary delays.
- Support the HR manager in developing our workforce's and managers' capabilities through training delivery.
- Support the wider HR team with ER issues and provide note-taking and administrative support for ER cases, ensuring a consistent HR approach across sites.
- Continuously review our resourcing channels and work with hiring managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment processes for salaried colleagues, including internal and external advertising, selection processes, offer stages, and a robust, welcoming onboarding experience.

What We're Looking For- 2+ years' experience in HR
- CIPD Qualified or working towards
- Driving Licence
