Working Hours: 8am-4pm (Mon - Fri)

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young People (EBD/SEMH)

Qualifications

Required:

Level 3 Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent (Essential)

Experience in Years

Required:

Experience with in a children’s residential setting required

Vacancies: This home is hiring 3 Senior Care Workers 🙌

• Number of Beds: Solo bed (1:1 or 2:1 staffing) OR Two-bed home (2:1 staffing)

• Location: Not Provided

• Type of YPs: EBD, SEMH, challenging behaviour

• Ratio of staff to children: High staffing ratios (1:1 or 2:1)

A confident, experienced professional who:

• Has strong knowledge of statutory requirements and Children’s Homes Regulations

• Can lead shifts, guide staff, and support young people with emotional and behavioural needs

• Demonstrates strong safeguarding experience

• Can confidently manage behaviours using PACE and Team Teach

• Holds strong communication, behaviour management, and administrative skills

• Is flexible to work shifts, weekends, evenings and sleep-ins

• Is a positive role model and able to motivate a team
