Technical Officer
We are seeking 1 x Technical Officer to be based in the Pollution Team.
Bradford MDC is a vibrant and culturally diverse district.
You will be required to proactively engage with businesses and stakeholders to enable the Environmental Health Department to develop and deliver a high quality, cost effective and efficient service aimed at securing compliance with legislation, guidance, and best practice in line with Council policies and procedures. You will be expected to provide advice on technical, legislative and enforcement matters relating to Environmental Health.
You will be enthusiastic,committed, self-motivated and have a ‘can-do’ attitude, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will also be required to work some unsociable hours as the job demands, however, with the flexitime system the Council operates, this will suit a wide range of people with their work-life balance.
