Location:
Western House (Bradford) with an office move to Leeds (LS10) from Summer 2026, or Smithy Wood (Sheffield), hybrid working with YW site visits, covering the west and South Yorkshire region.
Work type:
Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Capital Operations Integration Manager to join the Asset Delivery Team (Storm Overflow Alliance) at Yorkshire Water and help deliver high-quality service to our customers.

The Asset Delivery team supports meeting customer and regulator expectations, with a focus on the AMP8 Capital Investment Plans and storm overflow programmes.
Responsibilities- Project Support & Data Management – Collect, interpret, and validate data across project phases from various sources. Create and present reports. Support permit writing, handovers, and SAA sign-offs.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Consult with operational, technical, and contract teams. Liaise across Yorkshire Storm Alliance for coordination and collaboration.
- Design & Engineering Input – Provide design input for operational and maintenance considerations. Attend lifecycle meetings and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Construction & Commissioning – Attend project and commissioning meetings. Support shutdowns and handovers between teams.
- Process & Operational Support – Assist Project Manager and Sponsor; lead Process Impact Plans; respond to technical queries.
- Training & Coaching – Coach new starters on wastewater processes; support project training and handover planning with partners and stakeholders.
- Asset & Programme Readiness – Assess asset health and plan mitigations; contribute to staffing, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and logistics.
- Health & Safety – Audit sites, report hazards, and implement solutions.
- Communication & Coordination – Raise awareness of timelines and impacts to prevent delays.
- Technical expertise in process operation with 3-5 years in wastewater networks and CSO screens.
- Experience delivering significant projects in short time frames as part of a team.
- Ability to act as a link between project teams and operational teams to ensure outcomes.
- Experience supporting and embedding operational change; understands business targets and asset contributions.
- Experience developing operations and maintenance plans, asset management plans, statistical process control, and reliability plans.
- Ability to understand how the role fits within a business plan and to deliver outputs accordingly.
- Develops and maintains effective internal and external relationships; influences culture and behaviours.
- Demonstrates Yorkshire Water values and behaviours; experience in wastewater, utilities, process or manufacturing sectors.
- Experience driving sustainable performance against targets.
- Experience in a commercially oriented and/or regulated environment.
- Competitive salary: £39,968 - £49,960 depending on experience
