Our Engineering Design Team sits at the heart of our capital programme. We lead the technical definition, governance and design of projects across water, wastewater, bioresources, nature based solutions, networks, treatment and beyond.

We are building a Design Authority and engineering centre of excellence that will set the standard for how Yorkshire Water designs and delivers infrastructure.

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to serve as the technical design lead for major projects in Yorkshire Water’s Capital Delivery Programme. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end design of water and wastewater projects from initial concept and feasibility through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and final handover. As a key member of our Engineering Design Team, you will coordinate multiple engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and ICA) to deliver innovative, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions.
