My client is a world leader in the development of specialist high performance packaging solutions and is extremely well established, with over 30 years of manufacturing experience. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the engineering knowledge already within their current team. The group supplies products into several blue‑chip manufacturing organisations with a reputation for product quality and reliability.

• Apprentice Trained Engineer
• Experience of Packaging Machinery
• Understanding of PPM systems

• Develop, test, and implement engineering solutions that improve packaging processes, line performance, and product quality.
• Support R&D and NPD (New Product Development) activities, including trials, prototyping, and evaluation of new packaging formats or machinery.
• Assist with the integration, set‑up, and optimisation of packaging machinery and automation technologies.
• Lead engineering investigations, identify root causes, and deliver corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide technical support for customer projects, including blue‑chip FMCG clients and leading retailers.
• Prepare engineering documentation: test reports, line set‑up specifications, risk assessments, and technical drawings.
