Are you an experienced early years practitioner wanting to lead, influence practice, and help shape the quality of care and learning for young children? This is your chance to gain a Level 5 qualification whilst working full time and making a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead and support the practice of other practitioners in your setting.
- Oversee care, learning and development of children from birth to five.
- Act as a role model of high-quality, play‑based learning.
- Contribute to planning, observation, assessment and ensuring compliance with EYFS and guidance.
- Take responsibility for operational leadership: policies, staff development, health & wellbeing, and leading best practice strategies.
- Ensure continuous improvement and high quality provision across the setting.
- A Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship qualification.
- Hands‑on leadership experience in a real early years environment.
- Blended training: online platform for much of the learning, plus face‑to‑face and online events / tutor support.
- Weekly tutor check‑ins, regular reviews, and support via online resources.
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working directly with children aged birth to five under the EYFS, in a setting that delivers EYFS requirements.
- Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths GCSE, or willingness to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 if not already held.
- Duration: 18‑24 months including up to 3 months for End Point Assessment.
- Delivery:
Mix of online and face‑to‑face training, monthly training events, plus online webinars and resources.
