We are working with a specialist youth provision in Girlington, Bradford, seeking a dedicated and resilient PSHE Tutor to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and delivering meaningful PSHE education that makes a genuine impact.

The Pupils

You will be working with young people who may:

Have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
Have experienced trauma, adverse childhood experiences, or disrupted education
Require strong boundaries, consistency, and positive role modelling
Benefit from a nurturing, relationship-based approach to learning
Class sizes are small, and the focus is on engagement, emotional regulation, life skills, and personal development alongside PSHE delivery.

The Role

Deliver engaging and structured PSHE lessons
Support pupils with emotional regulation, confidence, and self-awareness
Build trusted, professional relationships with young people
Work collaboratively with a wider pastoral and teaching team
Maintain a calm, firm, and supportive classroom presence

The Ideal Candidate

Experience working with SEMH, PRU, alternative provision or youth settings
Confident delivering or supporting PSHE / personal development
Resilient, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent
Able to de-escalate situations and model positive behaviour
Qualified teachers, instructors, or experienced tutors are all welcome
