The Education Network is currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school setting in Bradford. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
The Role As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Working one-to-one or with small groups to support learning and development
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or alternative settings)
Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to supporting pupils’ individual needs and progress
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for oneWhat The Education Network Offers
