SEMH Specialist
The Education Network is currently recruiting a dedicated and resilient SEMH Specialist to support children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs across educational settings.

The Role As a SEMH Specialist, you will:

Support pupils with SEMH needs, including challenging behaviour and emotional regulation difficulties
Provide consistent, structured support both in and out of the classroom
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement behaviour and support plans
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to promote engagement and progress
Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and social development

The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs, ideally in a specialist or alternative provision
Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour management
Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and positive behaviour strategies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Relevant SEMH, SEN, or behaviour support training is desirable
