Screen Acting Drama Teacher at Articulate Drama School and Casting Agency.

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Screen Acting Drama Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate must have professional industry experience and expertise in teaching drama specifically for film & television, and have a genuine passion for nurturing and developing a child’s talent.

• Planning exciting and challenging screen acting lessons for ages 4 – 18+, sourcing scripts from TV and film.
• Deliver weekly lessons across our venues covering all elements of screen acting, such as:
  Improvisation, audition skills, script analysis, camera technique, sight reading, character development and physical movement.
• Encourage and support each student during their lesson with Articulate.
• Build the confidence of those as young as 4 years old through speech and drama.
• Provide constructive and detailed feedback to students during their lessons.
• Alongside the centre coordinator, provide a safe environment with good behaviour management skills, as well as supporting those with SEN.
• Collaborate with the Drama School Manager to bring fresh, innovative new ideas to the classroom.

  Experience:
  
  Evidential experience of working as a professional actor in film, TV, or major digital media.
• Teaching
  
  Experience:
  
  A minimum of 3 years teaching screen acting to children and teens.
• Safeguarding:
  Sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding measures and precautions.
• SEN training and/or experience working with children.
• Driving licence and access to a car.
• First Aid trained.

Locations: We are currently looking for screen acting teachers to work at the following locations:
Bingley, Horsforth, Harrogate, Baildon, Birstall and Ilkley.

Pay: £25 to £35 per hour DOE
