Daz In The Hat Radio CIC is seeking passionate individuals to oversee the Music Submissions Dept. It is ideal for those who want to support grassroots and unsigned music while gaining experience in radio administration.

This role helps raise the profile of the station by supporting its mission to promote unsigned artists to wider audiences. By acknowledging submissions from artists, promoters, and agents, the role encourages ongoing engagement and reinforces the station’s reputation as a platform that champions grassroots singers and bands.

• Access to a computer (not tablet or smartphone) & internet.
• General Operations Management – Oversee the running of Music Submission Department – distributing emails across the team
• Volunteer Management – Allocating & overseeing volunteers duties within the department
• Media Production – Understanding of Media Editing Software
• Love of all genres of music, and a love of music (especially grass roots)
• Knowledge of audio editing, meta data preferable but not necessary as training given in person or Zoom.
• Training given in person & Zoom

• Acknowledge emails received by the Music Submissions Department
• Forward music to relevant department staff
• Oversee downloaded audio files
• Edit metadata (training provided)
• Ensure edited audio files are distributed to station presenters for broadcast
