Job Description

Salary: NJC Grade D SCP 4 - 6 FTE £25,185 - £25,989 (depending on experience). £11,644 -£12,016 Pro-rata for 20 hours per week

Hours of work:20 hours per week (flexible days of the week) 8.30am – 3.00pm per day

Contract type:Fixed Term Contract ending 31 st August 2027, 39 weeks per annum (term time only)

All about the role:

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join our existing team of professionals.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • an ability Guadto work with a range of young people with SEND, including physical impairment
  • patience, sensitivity and an understanding of child development and learning
  • a strong team working ethos
  • good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
  • an ability to work in a SEN role to support learning in the classroom and ensure individuals make progress
  • effective communication with young people and teachers
