Shift: Monday-Saturday, one weekday off; 5:30am start time

Safely operates a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.

• Operates vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT and other regulations; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.
• Performs pre‑ and post‑trip inspections with standard DVIR.
• Immediately reports unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Participates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required.
• Works closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problems.
• Assists other company drivers as directed by Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Notifies Dispatch or Operations Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol.
• Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
• Completely dumps all containers and cleans the location.
• Completes and submits customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
• Positions containers correctly to keep lids replaced and no blockages.
• Follows route assignments and completes all documentation at end of route.

This job has no supervisory duties.

• Education and Experience: None required.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Commercial Driver’s License (Class
  
  B). Must be 18+.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, vehicle record review.
• Acceptable driving record required.
