Candidates must meet the following requirements:
* Ability to grade and level trench bases; cover pipes with earth or other materials.
* Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth.
* Tend pumps.
* Install or use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.
* Connect pipe pieces and seal joints.
* Ability to install and repair sanitary, sewer, storm and pressure pipe systems.
* Experience with both new site developments and existing municipal systems.
* Perform other job duties as assigned.
* Have a valid drivers license, preferably a CDL
* Pass pre-employment screenings including drug screen, criminal background, and I-9 verification
