As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Bradenton, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage and more. This is a Part-Time role that allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with team members and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be part of a team that values people-first service, teamwork, and integrity in an agile and innovative environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Monitor and control access to the location to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any irregularities.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
• Assist with visitor and contractor management by verifying credentials and granting access as appropriate for a food and beverage manufacturing environment.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
