Position Overview:

Manatee Farms, a trusted local grower of high-quality plants for over 50 years, is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable In-House Sales Representative to join our sales team. This position is ideal for someone with strong plant industry experience who understands the needs of national/regional/local retail and wholesale customers. The ideal candidate will be relationship-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to support customer success and drive company growth.

The position will be one that manages existing clients as well as prospecting for new customers for increased sales.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with retail and wholesale clients
• Understand and meet the specific needs of each customer
• Drive sales results through proactive customer engagement
• Perform data entry and manage customer information using computer systems (preferably Quick Books)
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer inquiries promptly
• Travel locally to visit customers as needed
• Contribute to a team environment and support company sales goals
• Checking orders for quality and accuracy

• Sales experience in the plant or horticulture industry
• Extensive knowledge of plants and plant care
• Proficiency in basic computer tasks; experience with Quick Books preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
