• Greets all guests and associates in a friendly manner.
• Displays exceptional customer service skills and understands rules of etiquette/flow of service for serving tables.
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of lounge bar.
• Wash and sanitize glasses and utensils. Maintain the physical appearance and cleanliness of the lounge bar and seating areas.
• Serve all food and beverages with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Check guest identification to ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverages.
• Ensure secure and valid method of payment for all transactions; receive payment by cash, credit/debit card or voucher and issue receipts or change due to guests.
• Communicates orders with the kitchen or restaurant.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
• Assist other departments when needed to ensure world‑class service to guests.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

• Previous experience bartending in a hotel or restaurant lounge/bar is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine and spirits.
• TIPS/Serv Safe certification is required before working.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity while in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by co‑workers and guests.
• Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
• Must have a positive attitude and have a team mindset.
• Ability to assist when needed.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 60 lbs. or more.
• Ability to stand for durations of shift.

• Requires a background check upon offer.
• Requires a drug test upon offer.
