Position Summary:
The Nurse Director assumes 24‑hour responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of a nursing department(s). The Nurse Director supervises, evaluates, and holds accountable the ongoing performance of the nursing staff based on the facility’s operational pillars. The role maintains structures and processes that ensure patient‑centered care and supports the development of staff through mentoring and stewardship. The Nurse Director also supports work redesign and quality improvement using evidence‑based practice to achieve clinical excellence and is fiscally responsible for the department’s operating budgets and administrative functions.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- BSN, required
- MSN required or matriculation to be completed within 3 years of hire
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification through American Heart Association
