• Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey
• Performing expert procedures and medication administration – including pain relief and fluid therapy – delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort
• Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions
• Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Advanced Burn Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma

Eligibility for benefits may vary by location. HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 380+ bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation.
