AboutThe Role
Licensed Practical Nurse (Assisted Living) is responsible for accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls in our Assisted Living and Memory Care Units.
Available Positions- 1 weekend day shift
- 1 part‑time 11am–7pm shift
- Administers medications.
- Administers treatments, including dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
- Assists in direct resident care as necessary.
- Maintains accurate medication documentation and care records.
- Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
- Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.
- Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
- Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
- Maintains self‑respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.
- Ensures continuity of services and care.
- Attends in‑service training and education sessions as assigned.
- Performs specific duties assigned by supervisor.
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- At least 6 months nursing experience, geriatric experience preferred.
- Warm, friendly, and caring demeanor on first impression.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 70% of the work day; lift, transfer, turn, and position residents weighing up to 125 lbs. unassisted, and with the assistance of one for residents over 125 lbs. May be exposed to offensive odors, combative behavior, communicable diseases including HIV and HBV. Must lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

Starting at $25 per hour plus differential $3500 sign‑on bonus.
