Registered Nurse; RN Emergency Room Nights

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care. Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid in patient health and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. It also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.

The opportunity is for a full-time night position in the Emergency Room with 1-3 years of emergency nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN licensure in Florida
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association
• Current PALS through American Heart Association
• Current NIH Stroke Certification
• CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) within 90 days of hire
