Brief Description
In our time of Company growth, we seek a Staff Registered Nurse (RN)/Southeast Family.
Work Locations: Bradenton, FL.
- Adhere to the time and attendance policy as written in the employee handbook.
- Must be able to float to alternative locations as instructed by your supervisor, with short notice, to ensure adequate site coverage.
- Responsible for providing vital signs, interviewing the patient/family, and charting.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the needs of patients and peers.
- Maintain positive, effective communication with providers, supervisors, and peers.
- Ensure provider orders are directed to the various appropriate departments.
- Be knowledgeable and assist providers as requested with exams, procedures, removal of sutures, etc.
- Complete medication and DME authorizations for patients in a timely manner.
- Licensed RN in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing required.
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience preferred.
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute required.
- Cardio Department ONLY: ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute required.
- Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint proficiency preferred.
The Staff Nurse (RN) ensures services are administered utilizing professional standards with a strong focus on quality, timely care, and exceptional customer service under the direction of the medical provider.
