Responsibilities:
- As part of a patient-first approach, nurse interns partner with a registered nurse, preceptor, or other licensed professional to develop critical thinking skills and prepare for the transition to clinical practice upon graduating from an accredited program.
- Create and nurture relationships with patients, families, community, colleagues and staff in a caring and healing environment, exercising teamwork skills within a professional practice environment.
- Strive for excellent patient safety and quality outcomes, demonstrate service excellence at all times, and perform other duties as assigned.

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: High School Diploma/GED is not required. Vocational/Technical School/Diploma, Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree are acceptable. Completion of Level 1 Fundamentals of Nursing is preferred.
- Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Active enrollment in an accredited RN or LPN program and completion of at least one semester of such program required.
- Preferred Experience: Previous Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is preferred.
