Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Demonstrates professional leadership and supports the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care.
• Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs; administers IVs and medications; uses medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN licensure in Florida
• Minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• BSN Preferred
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association
