PSS – Junior Project Manager

Base Salary Rate: $65,102.00 - $76,590.00

Job type: Full-time

This PSS (Professional Services and Solutions) Project Manager role will work with our internal sales teams, other Project Managers, our customers, facility managers and property owners to manage the design and installation of the best Edwards and Kidde equipment solution for new and replacement Fire Alarm and Mass Notification systems. This role includes mentoring and skill development to initially assist with and eventually manage the entire project process.

PSS Project Manager primary responsibilities are as follows:

• Must be able to work under minimal supervision and generate results. Provide construction Project Management services during new installations, renovations and upgrades of Fire Alarm and Mass Notification systems to meet the requirements of customer code authorities. This position will assist in coordinating various tasks including:
• Site survey or existing system analysis
• System Specifications
• RFP Management
• System Design
• Permitting and local authority design approval
• Final acceptance testing
• Work with internal resources for CAD and site visit support.
• Create Statements of Work, project tracking reports and other project related business correspondence.
• Interact with subcontractors and facility owners during equipment installation and wiring with a focus on scheduling around active business operations
• Approximately 15% travel on an annual basis.

• HS Diploma or GED
• Project management training certification
• 1+ years of software tool experience.
• 1+ year of experience in Project Management.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to legally work in all 50 states in the USA.

• PSS Project Manager Applicants do not need the following, but preference will be given to candidates with these skills
  • PMP, CCM or PMI-CP or other Project Management industry certification
  • Experience in life safety or fire system project management, design, or servicing.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance.
