Job Description & How to Apply Below
About the role
You’ll own both mitigation (water, fire, mold) and reconstruction delivery—leading Project Managers and field crews, aligning vendors/subs, and ensuring every job hits our targets for speed, documentation quality, safety, and margin. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for a restoration professional who can switch between the field and the office with equal confidence.
What you’ll do- Lead & develop teams: Coach PMs/Crew Chiefs/Technicians; run daily huddles; build capacity for CAT events and large‑loss work.
- Own job performance: Manage WIP from intake to invoice; drive cycle‑time, gross margin, and CSAT; minimize rework.
- Scope & estimate: Review scopes, sketches, and line items; ensure Xactimate accuracy; approve change orders.
- Quality & compliance: Enforce IICRC standards; conduct site audits; champion a safety‑first culture.
- Scheduling/dispatch: Align crews, equipment, and subs; manage on‑call rotations; ensure rapid emergency response.
- Customer & carrier comms: Set clear expectations; provide proactive updates to property owners, adjusters, and program partners.
- Documentation excellence: Ensure photos, logs, moisture readings, signatures, and materials are billing‑ready within SLA.
- Vendor & subcontractor management: Qualify subs; negotiate rates; hold partners accountable on schedule and quality.
- Reconstruction delivery: Coordinate trades; secure permits; pass inspections; drive punch‑list to zero.
- 1–3 + years in restoration/mitigation with 2+ years leading PMs/field teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- IICRC certifications (WRT required; ASD/FSRT/AMRT preferred).
- Strong Xactimate proficiency (scope, sketch, pricing, documentation).
- Valid driver’s license; ability to respond after‑hours/on‑call as needed.
- Clear, confident communication—written, verbal, and customer‑facing.
- Nice‑to‑have:
Florida GC or CBC experience/licensure; large‑loss/CAT experience.
- Target base salary: $75,000–$100,000 DOE, plus performance bonus
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, company vehicle or allowance, phone/laptop, paid training
- Monday–Friday core hours with on‑call rotation for emergency response.
- Local travel across Sarasota/Manatee counties; occasional regional travel for storm events.
- Be part of a brand built on rapid response and professional restoration—Ready for Whatever Happens®.
- Clear KPIs, strong support, and real career growth in reconstruction and large‑loss.
- The work you do directly helps our neighbors recover—and that impact is felt every day.
- Predictable schedules; cycle‑time down, WIP clean.
- Gross margin at target with tight job costing and materials control.
- Zero safety incidents; documentation consistently billing‑ready within 48 hours of job completion.
- 5‑star customer feedback and carrier program compliance.
